He has to pass a license examination which is hold only for international young doctors.

3. Differences in application procedure depending on country of origin:

The exam for international doctors to get the medical license is usually more difficult than local doctors. Once they pass the exam, everyone is in the same opportunities. Though the country and school where an international doctor graduated from might still have some influences when interviewing during the application of famous medical centers.

4. Ratio between applicants and physicians who finally obtain a residency position:

1:1, though it depends on which hospital and specialty you are applying for!

5. Does everyone who passes the medical license examinations gain a residency position in a hospital?:

Everyone should apply for the hospital and the specialty by himself

6. Specialties in which it is most difficult to obtain a position:

Dermatology, ENT, Psychiatry

7. Is there a waiting list for medical graduates who want to begin a residency?:

No. But if you only focus on the best medical centers, there might be some difficulties…

Usually they still need to pass some exam.
